Each year The Spirit of the Capital Youth Awards celebrates nominees from seven different categories with the presentation of a $1,000 award for winners and $250 going to the runners up, to be used for the advancement of academics or social enterprise in line with the values of Youth Ottawa.  Awards are presented in the following categories: Technology & Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Service & Caring, Arts & Culture, Take a Stand, Academic Perseverance and the Max Keeping Award for Courage.

** Please note the Date of the Awards Ceremony has been changed to June 9th, 2016 at Jean Pigott Place at Ottawa City Hall.**
